Our three-stage approach:
Step 1: SEO keyword translation
An unoptimised website is an ineffective one, and the SEO keywords at the heart of a website’s optimisation (that must appear across website page copy, page titles and more) also require translation.
We take your source language SEO keywords, translate them into your chosen languages, and with the help of our in-country linguists, conduct keyword research to find the most appropriate, effective keywords with the highest volume.
Once accepted by you, we load these translations into a new translation memory (TM). TMs are part of the software environment we work in and help us translate new text in a way that is consistent with phrases saved in the TM. This is important to ensure the consistency of keywords and terminology used throughout the translation.
Step 2: Website content translation
Our translators then translate your website content into your chosen languages, conducting localisation as we go, to ensure currencies, measurements, and (eventually) imagery is culturally appropriate for users in the territories you’re translating for.
To ensure we provide smooth and connected website translation services, we export our completed files in the format of your choosing, to enable you to simply upload them into your website’s CMS and avoid the copy and pasting process, to help ensure accuracy during the publishing step.
Step 3: Conducting checks
If you have in-house, mother tongue, multilingual employees who would like to review the translations before sign-off, we can supply bilingual files for review.
When translating languages with non-Latin alphabets, we recommend that we check how these translations are displayed in the website page, pre publishing, to ensure that content is displaying correctly and also oriented appropriately, for example, right to left for Arabic.
